EPDM liners come in widths of:  5'  10'  15'  20'  25  30' 
If the liner size for the pond you have designed is irregular ( example a 18' x 23')
you will  have to purchase a liner 20' x 23' which has a number ( i.e. 20) that conforms to one of the width numbers above. Length is not an issue, it is of course the width of the liner that must conform to the above dimensions.

Optimum Biofilter flow rate  gallons per hour (GPH)

Check the flow rate of your Biofilter to be sure your filter size is adequate.
It is optimum to process all your water in your pond through your
filtration device once every two hours.
Be certain your pump and filter are matched to the size of your pond (volume)
a little larger is better.

If you require a larger flow for your waterfall, get a larger pump and with the use of 
" T's  or Y's" and ball valves you can make a by- pass assembly so that your filtration
unit receives only the flow it is rated for and the remainder of the flow goes directly to
the waterfall. If your using a Biofilter such as a Cyprio Bioforce or a Pond Filtration unit (which are pressurized) you may take the discharge from the filter and re-route it to the waterfall also.
This way you get the proper filtration and a waterfall  has a flow you really like.
